($65/team; please make checks payable to Coulee Croche Firefighters Association). Please register above to secure your team's spot.
Arrival Time: Teams may arrive starting at 6:00 AM on Saturday, October 25th to begin cooking by 7:00 AM
Deadline for Team Arrival: 7:00 AM (Firm Deadline)
Please find volunteer in a BLUE Mosquito Fest shirt for guidance on unloading. They will direct you as needed.
Cooking Begins: 7:00 AM
Festival grounds open: 9:00 AM
Tents opened to public serving: 10:00 AM
Judge's servings picked up: 11:30 AM
Judging: 11:45AM
Winner's Announced: 12:15 PM
Teams may consist of up to 4 members.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase to support our firefighters.
*Teams are allowed one drink ice chest per tent (no alcohol, no glass bottles allowed in team ice chests).
Responsible consumption is expected.
Quantity: Teams must cook a minimum of 5 gallons
Tasting Supplies: Cooked rice, Judge's containers, tasting cups, and utensils for the public will be provided by the Coulee Croche Firefighter's Association
Cooking must be done on-site and from scratch. No pre-cooked or pre-prepared foods.
All cooking must be done in a sanitary manner. Coolers with ice are recommended for meat or perishables.
Teams must comply with food safety guidelines: keep hot food hot (140°F or above) and cold food cold (40°F or below).
Propane burners, pots, and tents/pop-ups are encouraged. Electricity will not be provided.
What Teams Must Bring:
Table/chairs/ one tent
Cooking Equipment: propane tanks/burners, cooking utensils/pots, etc
Cleanup: Each team is responsible for maintaining a clean cooking area and for cleanup after the event.
There is a faucet under the pavilion, but we encourage you to bring water to use at your discretion.
Team Conduct: Team captain is accountable for the team’s behavior.

A panel of local judges will score each dish based on:
Taste (40 points)
Creativity/Originality (25 points)
Presentation (15 points)
Texture/Consistency (10 points)
Aroma (10 points)
Total possible score: 100 points
All decisions by the judging panel are final.
